Everytime I go here the food is delicious and the waitstaff is awesome! I gave it 4/5 stars because if you pay the extra money to get fresh squeezed orange juice it's warm. They claim this is normal but I've never been anywhere where it's that warm. Put the oranges in the fridge!!!

Went for a late breakfast with my boyfriend on a Sunday and it was not busy because they were getting ready to close. I ordered the huevos rancheros and my boyfriend ordered the voodoo. These dishes were good, however they were a little bland. I wanted my dish to have a little more flavor. It definitely was spicy! My boyfriend wished his had a little bit more flavor too! It was like they were missing something. We will definitely try it out again though!

The Jagged Fork is my neighborhood's new brunch spot and I must say it does not disappoint! The headline of this review? "Why wait for a table at Original Pancake House?! You can have delicious quality just down Mack!" My husband and I were very pleased to have an experience on par with OPH but with faster service and wonderful, attentive waitstaff. We waited maybe 4 minutes for a table. We had two waters at the table before we even sat down. Our waitress was knowledgeable and nice. Our food was out in less than five minutes and we went at 10 am on SATURDAY. AND I HAD A CUSTOM ORDER. THAT IS FAST. Okay, I'll stop yelling now. But the food, Lauren, the food! I stuck with a heart-healthy scrambled egg white option that was tasty and my husband ordered a 3x3 omelet that he thoroughly enjoyed. We oggled the pancake options but felt it was a touch too early for dessert. The table next to us had some young girls digging in to an Oreo pancake and they looked very pleased. Afterall, it was the size of their head. If I had to note anything it would be that the coffee, while quickly and generously refilled, tasted a little burnt and my husband said his hashbrowns had a good taste but a weird texture... which I agree with. They were grainy and mushy inside, crisp outside. But really, now I'm being nitpicky. Overall, very very good. Go!
(4)Chanda G.
I had a take out and was curious of how they would package the meal... Nicely done. Very tasty. Service was good, for carry out. I'll have to go back to dine in, my excuse.
(4)Randall D.
Traveled 40 minutes to have Mother's Day breakfast here. Would I do it again? ABSOLUTELY! The food was wonderful. The combination of flavors and presentation of dishes was so much fun and tasty that we simply have to come back. Service was exceptional and ownership certainly has a winning formula. Hands down: a winner.
(5)Jessica B.
I'm not sure what's happened since my initial review, but the quality sure has gone downhill. The food is bland and the service is mediocre. I had their voodoo Benedict and it was completely flavorless and the poached eggs were so overcooked , they were essentially hard boiled. I went another time, for lunch, thinking it was a fluke bad experience. I ordered the quesadilla. It was a soggy, overstuffed mess. And it's as if they intentionally give you toilet water as drinking water (it tastes disgusting!) so that you have to order their overpriced drinks ($6.50 for a glass of OJ). You will walk out of there wondering what the heck happened, considering joining the I-94 panhandlers, and feeling like you not only wasted time but also money.

It's been a while since we first visited this little gem but I couldn't pass this page up again without giving my review. Our first visit to this place was amazing! The friendly service, the cool up to date ambiance and the fast service were all great. The food, well let's just say you won't be disappointed! I had the Huevos Rancheros and she had the Stuffed French Toast. We both were amazed at how good the food was, there was absolutely nothing you could change to either dish or our experience here that could improve it. Perfection! It was so perfect in fact, we came back the very next morning for more! lol Again, perfect service and perfect food. I'm usually pretty blunt and hard on my reviews but there is nothing I can honestly say even came close to average or bad about this place other than they aren't located at the end of my street!
(5)Mike M.
We had high hopes for this restaurant after reading the reviews. Believe the other reviews, the coffee is bad. A restaurant with good breakfast should have good, at least drinkable coffee. Not here. Ours was both watery tasting and burned. Double bad. I had the berry stuffed French toast. While the banana cream cheese filling was good, my French toast was served cold. The fruit topping consisted of 3 slices of strawberry, which totaled a 1/2 of a strawberry and maybe 3 or 4 blueberries. Our server recommended the chorizo in the huevos rancheros my husband got. He let him know it was spicy, and my husband loves spicy food, but this was so spicy he couldn't even finish it. Our bill was over $30 with two coffees and tip. I wasn't $30 breakfast for 2 impressed.
(2)Jeanne P.
I had the Eggs Benedict Florentine today. The English muffin was not toasted, the very thin tomato slice was anemic and tasteless, the dap of naked microwaved spinach dull, and the gluey Hollandaise sauce was cold and tasted like a processed product out of a jar. I would have sent it back but didn't want to make a fuss as I was dining with others; found out later that they all were disappointed. Waitress was pleasant. Too bad!
(1)Andrea F.
Great breakfast!! Would return for sure. Our waitress was sweet and our food was delicious!
(5)Jacquelynn A.
AWESOME!!! The place is super small so unfortunitly it's ALWAYS busy. We usally get breakfast to go. The pancakes and omelettes are great. I'm head over heels for their PB&J Oatmeal. It is to die for! I crave it on a regular basis.
(5)Jessca S.
What a great place for brunch! We showed up after 1pm on a Sunday and only had a 15 minute wait. The waitress was prompt with our coffees an juice. The breakfast tamale was to DIE for - so delicious. The over easy eggs mixed well with the salsas and hashbrowns on the bottom. The portion was so large, I took half home. The boyfriend had the chorizo skillet - I had a bite, it was pretty good, but no where near as good as mine. The price of their orange juice was a little outrageous, but we wanted it anyway, as I think it was the only juice on the menu. I can't wait to try out some of their pancakes!
(4)Jim C.
Very glad to have talked my girlfriend out of the Original Pancake House. Contrary to the local urban legend, it's not the "original" pancake house anyway... it's the name of the nationwide chain. There are plenty of others... But I digress. Jagged Fork was a great experience. We had to wait 10-15 min for a seat (which was expected on a Sunday morning). Once seated, the service was quick and attentive. Their coffee was great, but their food is what gives this place five stars. I will definitely be back to do more research, but we loved their food. I had their Voodoo Eggs Benedict (recommended by other yelpers) and loved it... the salsa verde and chorizo gave it the right amount of flavor and spice. Combined with the hashbrowns, there was plenty there for this to be a full meal (I'm a fat kid trapped in a skinny kid's body). After polishing off my meal in a jiffy, I turned my attention to my girlfriend's pancake sampler (I forgot the name of it... UG3 or something). She won't finish it anyway, especially when you get six pancakes and all the diabetes that comes with the sugared variety. Included in the trio were the red velvet pancakes, the oreo pancakes, and the chunky monkey variety. The red velvet were my favorite for the flavor (and cream cheese based topping). The chunky monkey (my girlfriend's favorite) was also tasty with plenty of bananas and white chocolate chips. The oreo pancake was fine, but I don't have that much of a sweet tooth... oreos and cream cheese toppings was too rich for me, but I see the attraction. The service was quick, food was top notch, and I'd recommend going out of your way to swing by Grosse Point for breakfast. I know we'll be back. The only possible thing I could recommend to them would be a bike rack. There is room for one in front or in the gravel in their parking lot. Otherwise you're chaining your bike to a tree, parking meter, or street sign. Otherwise, don't change a thing... unless they want to deliver me breakfast in bed. I leave for work at 7am....
(5)Benjamin C.
My friends had been telling me how great Jagged Fork is for months. I finally went and now I know what all the hoopla is about. The food is amazing! The prices are fair. We had to wait about 15 minutes on a Saturday at 12:30pm, but well worth it.
(5)Gordana F.
Oh my, I don't even know where to start! So, you know how when you get breakfast, if you order something salty, you wish you had ordered something sweet and vice versa? Well! Here, with your breakfast you can either get toast or pancakes!!! PERFECT!!! Lets start with the pancakes. If you like OPH pancakes then you will LOVE these, they are fluffy, buttery, soft and delicious. They literally melt in your mouth, and they are served with a huge bottle of super warm syrup. OMGGGGG! I was literally moaning at my table, and if there were no people I would have licked the plate. Easily the best pancakes I have ever had!!!! The food though, whoa! I ordered the greek skillet with poached eggs and my hubs ordered the triple triple skillet (I posted pics). So fresh, so delicious, mine was filled with feta and whole warm kalamata olives and tons of veggies. It was to die for and the eggs were cooked perfectly! And the staff is so nice and friendly! Our sweet waitress actually chased us out into the lot because I forgot my carry out (waaay too much food for 1 meal!) This was easily one of the best breakfast dining experiences I have ever had. It is phenomenal and definitely surpasses Mack Ave Grill and Pancake House. If I could've given this place 100 stars, I would have! Go here. Please!
(5)Amy E.
I love the Jagged Fork; it is, by far, our favorite breakfast spot. I don't even mind having to wait 45 minutes on a Sunday morning when I get out of church because the food is just amazing. I love to get the triple triple omelette with fruit and Chunky Monkey pancakes. I tried the pancake sampler and still think chunky monkey are the best pancakes (my boyfriend is impartial to the red velvet). We took my mom there for Mother's Day and she also loved her meal. Seating is a little tight, but you'll forget about that as soon as you receive your food.
(5)Karen A.
HUGE portions. crowded dining room. Excellent food.
(5)Jim S.
Fanstic experience with sales agent Ted Roney. Leased 2 vehicles and they exceed expectations. Thanks, Ted. Jim Snyder
(5)Anthony R.
Amazing Triple, triple!! Food is fresh, and you can taste Fresh in every bite!! Cool little spot, and the service is over the top!! Great wait staff, great cooks........ I'm coming back!!
(5)Juan V.
Amazing little spot for brunch. The staff is so nice and the food is incredible. While we were waiting for a table, the hostess offered coffee or water. 150% recommended!!.
(5)Emilio B.
Amazing brunch place! Great menu and a lot of choices. Definitely will be going back.
(4)Mark T.
Great brunch with a great friend. The short wait was worth it especially for a Saturday. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. A creative and dynamic menu has something for everyone. I will be back for sure!
(4)Alice A.
Amazing! If you're looking for a great new spot - The Jagged Fork should be on your list. They have some delicious specialty pancakes and the skillets deliver great taste. The staff is delightful. The place isn't that large, but we had no issues getting a seat. Probably my new favorite spot for brunch - I never knew I liked brunch all that much until we stopped here. I'm excited to go back and try more dishes.
(5)Cara S.
Long wait on a Sunday at noon but that's to be expected!! Wanted to try a new place and avoid the detroit sports traffic so ventured out to grosse point. Totally worth it!!! The fries were amazing with unusual toppings. I got the fruit explosion pancakes which were excellent and my co-diner got the special crepe which was also deelish. I would absolutely recommend this spot.
(5)Meg K.
The menu is pretty much the same as their downtown location. Creative offerings. On this visit, my meal was average. Ordered the pomodoro omelet, thought it would feature a hearty tomato sauce and fresh basil. Instead, it had diced tomatoes and onions, sprinkled with dried basil. In-the-box hash browns and toast. Overall, one note flavors and textures. Portions are generous so I think the prices are okay. Service was good. The foundation for "amazing" is there, just need to take it up a notch. I'll be back to try other dishes.
(3)Rae M.
This place is an excellent spot for brunch. The Voodoo Benedict is my favorite, but the everything I've tried so far has been pretty great. Only complaint: the french fries could be better. The wait staff is excellent and very kind. We'll be back!
(4)Mark S.
This joint is cute, the staff is amazing and the food is delicious. I had the Voodoo Benedict which is crazy good and spicy like I like it. Food came out hot and fast and the coffee refills were aplenty.
(5)Joshua M.
Went looking for something different serving breakfast for a morning date with my wife. Found this little gem and drove from Troy. The atmosphere is relaxing and very nice inside (bathrooms are clean). The wait staff is exceptionally friendly and make you feel like you are talking to family. The food is high quality. Try the pancakes ~ wow! A great experience. We will be back for sure!
(5)Kenneth M.
A fabulous first visit! The huevos rancheros was great and my better half really enjoyed her omelette. Thinking this might turn into our new weekend breakfast destination.
(4)Nick B.
The monte cristo was soo flippin good, the flavors were diverse and balanced. And it was not greasy at all. I am so impressed with the creativity of the menu, I will be back and explore many of the items. Reading the item descriptions allows me to look right past the $9 breakfast price tags
(5)Jen A.
Out on the town, looking for a new place to try, J., Li'l J., Li'l A. and I find ourselves looking for lunch in Grosse Pointe. We see Jagged Fork and make a quick Michigan left turn to go back. We're not sure this was a good choice when we find ourselves only the second table there. Soon we see that we chose well. The portions are crazy-big, not my priority in where to eat, but it's not bad. We had the Mac burgers and fries. The service was great. The food was even better.
(4)Daisha H.
Went here a couple times for Brunch within the past month. The Jagged Fork reminds me so much of Hudson Cafe, not sure which one is better though. There is usually a little wait but it does not last longer than 20 mins. The first time I went, I got the Monte Cristo. I was taking a walk on the wild side because I don't usually eat ham; however, I was glad I did. The sweet and salty combo is literally EVERYTHING. If you love breakfast, you have to try it! I also had the Berry French Toast and made the executive decision to have bacon added to it (like, inside it). AWESOME! If you get the berry french toast, add bacon to it! Thank me later! The waitress I had was great the first time I went. However, the waitor I had at my second visit was so strange...he made off color jokes and had me straight-facing him the whole time. Very inappropriate! He said something to the fact of "while im doing all this stuff for you guys, are you good tippers", like WHAT? Who says that? But aside from his weird comments, the Jagged Fork is amazing. I will be back! They have pretty good prices too!
(5)Holly R.
Phenomenal fresh real food and giant portions. The coffee could be better but I'm a coffee snob.
(5)Coleman H.
Ate here this morning and enjoyed it a great deal. Had a very large menu with lots of options. Although they mostly had breakfast items and not many lunch selections. The atmosphere was cozy, but small and loud. The server was friendly, knowledge and fast. A little expensive for a breakfast though. $54 total for 4 adults getting breakfast, for the high price I gave it 4 starts. However, I will be back again!
(4)Bitsy S.
The two photos below of the pancakes and the stuffed French toast are what we had for brunch yesterday. My friend had pancakes topped with fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries and a whole banana) and as it turned out, the pancakes were blueberry, too. I had cream cheese stuffed French toast topped with fresh fruit and whipped cream on the side. The strawberries were to die for. I also ordered a small glass of OJ which turned out to be fresh-squeezed. Do you have any idea how many places do fresh-squeezed any more? Not too many. What a delight. They were jammed when we got there about 11 a.m. on Sunday but the wait wasn't long. The service was excellent, too. Another trip will be done to try more on the menu. Recommend it highly. My breakfast was $13.
(5)Sam M.
This place is incredible. First off the entire staff from the owner to the dishwasher was nothing short of excellent. Everyone was happy as they greeted me. The waitress recommend the breakfast tamales with strawberry crapes' on the side. This is the best breakfast I have had in a long time. Their foods is beautifully prepared and presented to you in a timely manner. The taste of their menu is best described as orgasmic. The price was extremely reasonable. In short this place is a must visit.
(5)Casey K.
This place is average. It's not bad but really not good either. It's not like it's cheap enough that I would go back for an average meal. It's popular in Grosse pointe because Grosse pointe has BORING restaurant choices and people don't venture out to good restaurants often. I got the caprese omelette and was expecting fresh basil, tomatoes, and mozzarella. Instead it was what seemed like a pinch of shredded mozzarella, tomatoes, and dried basil. I hate to sound like a snob but really? Basil flakes? I feel like fresh mozzarella and basil are what makes caprese so good. My omelet wasn't really. This place is fine. But not worth the hour wait they have on Sunday mornings.
(3)Gary H.
The most amazing breakfast / lunch restaurant in town! And by in town I mean the metro Detroit area! We usually have the chef pick our meal and he never disappoints, a staple and a must haves are the Red Velvet Pancakes and the Voodoo Benedict. If you would like phenomenal food and a variety here!!!
(5)Nicole Y.
Outstanding! Food and service are excellent. I wish I lived closer so I could enjoy this restaurant more often. I've been to the Jagged Fork several times now (always a weekend late morning) and have had a short 10-15 minute wait for a table. It is well worth the wait! The berry stuffed french toast is my favorite so far, but there are a few more items on the menu I'm dying to try. The corned beef hash is amazing too. Food arrives quickly and arranged to please the eye, not just thrown together on a plate like so many other restaurants. Coffee was good and my cup was always full. I will definitely return!
(5)Leslie B.
The wait staff is a 10 for sure. The food is great love the Hudson's salad always fresh and delicious. & my kids can't get enough of the pancakes. Its small but, the wait is never to bad.
(5)Britte S.
One of the best breakfast spots I've ever been to. It is usually crowded but you don't often have to wait long. The staff is very pleasant and the food is just incredible. Best Eggs Benedict I've ever had
(5)Carlos P.
Great food. Amazing friendly service. No long waits. Their benedicts are incredible. I pretty much recommend anything on their menu.
(5)Darah R.
I had the Chorizo Skillet and my hubby had the Mack burger. Everything was great however my pancakes were nothing special.
(4)Kurtis W.
This place just became the only breakfast restaurant I will eat at in the pointes. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and on the ball. Even if the place is stuffed over capacity my food is still delivered to me in less than twenty minutes. The Red Velvet pancakes are divine, as well as their guacamole that they put on various menu items. Grosse Pointe needs more independent businesses like this. MOVE OVER OHOP!
(5)Sarah J.
We really liked the food! It was hard to choose but I got some great crepes and my husband got pecan pancakes. I got potatoes loaded with yummy toppings too. My son ordered Mickey Mouse pancakes. We all enjoyed the food. The waitstaff was friendly and the food was fast. I would definitely eat here again. I still want to try the red velvet pancakes.
(4)Renee P.
The crepe here is to die for. As a crepe lover, I have tried all the sweet crepes. They are all wonderful and delicious. I vote the crepe here best place in town. Only thing is that the parking is a little difficult to find.
(5)Kitty C.
My husband & I visited recently for the 1st time. I had the Tuna Melt, the hubby had a Skillet & Red Velvet Pancakes. Everything was great, especially the pancakes! The service was good, just wish they were open past 3PM daily. Will definitely visit again soon.
(5)Elizabeth H.
I wish I could give this a five star, but the service was less than acceptable. My husband and I stopped for a late breakfast following a medical procedure which required a24 hour fast. He asked the server if she could take our order, as I was a bit shaky. She did so, but after our request, the server was pretty absent and when she did ask if I wanted a box for my second egg Benedict, she ignored my complaint that the egg was vastly over cooked. Her response was if I didn't want a second egg, then forget it. Of course this occurred as we had finished and it was certainly too late to address the situation. I received our check and there was no adjustment. I rarely criticize and was more than a little surprised that there wasn't even a minor adjustment or apology. Too bad because the food was good when properly prepared.
(4)Jonathan M.
Outstanding! Went here with two others for breakfast. The voodoo Benedict was incredible. The other items were also exceptional. Only four stars because $50 for breakfast for three is a bit high.
(4)Julie D.
We had breakfast here on Tuesday, 9/16/14 with family members who raved about it.We arrived early and there was only one other table being served. I ordered the Baja Benedict which was two toasted English muffins( that I wished I had a steak knife to cut) with a bit of guacamole in the center (needed more) and a poached egg on top of each one. There was no sauce whatsoever. Certainly not fattening, but also not tasty. Nothing special. I should have ordered the corned beef, which was excellent. My son had the pancake sampler. Enough food for three or four people. The only good one in the bunch was the banana pancake. I prefer thinner pancakes than theirs, also. My daughter-in-law and I had the mixed fruit bowl as a part of our orders. The first bite of the cantaloupe tasted moldy, the watermelon was just a bit odd flavored, I had to spit out the third grape I tried. It was rotten. I mentioned the moldy taste to the waitress, who remarked that she had helped cut fresh fruit that morning and would toss the old fruit out and start using the fresh. Why in the world wouldn't the have done that at the beginning of the morning? Not to be wasteful. But it would have been smart to try the fruit to see if it was still good. I have no idea how long the fruit had been in the cooler. My husband had the Greek Skillet which he felt needed more of the spinach, feta and olives tossed in. The waitress was friendly and efficient, the food was the disappointment.
(2)Bryan V.
Busy but worth it! Huevos Rancheros was amazing! Service was great. I can't wait to go back.
(5)Abby B.
Best breakfast on the East side hands down! Excellent food, all fresh ingredients made in house. We enjoyed the Voo Doo, an omelette, and a side order of chunky monkey pancakes (bananas and white chocolate- need I say more??) for something sweet. This will definitely be our go to breakfast place.
(5)Sally S.
Our family has yet to find a dish that we are not happy with...The omelets, crepes, pancakes are all superb!! The food is also served quickly which is great for families with young children!! We have also done take out and enjoy having the meals at home as well. The only complaint we have is that they close early in the day and wish it was open for dinner...
(5)Pam P.
Stopped in with a fellow west sider today and didn't know what to expect. What a great place! We didn't have to wait long for a table and we were offered beverages right away. Super friendly staff and delicious food. I had a skillet which was excellent. The pancakes were nice and fluffy and came with warm syrup. My friend had a traditional Maurice salad which brought back memories of Hudson's. If we wander our way back to the east side, we'd definitely come again.
(5)Genevieve V.
Great variety, everything we've tried has been delicious. They don't take reservations, but when I called ahead for a large group on a weekday, they actually had a table ready for us. That was a great surprise. I wouldn't expect it on a weekend, but thank you!
(5)Kim T.
Ate breakfast this morning at Jagged Fork. Service was very friendly, efficient and fast. I had the plain waffle- flavor was good but it wasn't the least bit crispy- just chewy which is a sign that the waffle iron wasn't hot enough and the waffle steamed instead of toasted on the outside. At $9 for one medium sized waffle, it was over-priced. Partner had the Thanksgiving omelette with hash browns which were tasty but again, the price seemed high at $10. Orange juice tasted fresh-squeezed as advertised. A lot of not-so-healthy choices in the pancake, waffle, and French toast categories. Would prefer a few whole-grain, less sickly sweet options. Nice atmosphere with comfy seating and TVs for those waiting for a table.
(3)Sammy Y.
Truly great food, the menu offers a variety of delicious items! Service was fantastic, will be returning to the Jagged Fork on regular bases.
(5)Jo N.
First impression was good. Although there were a lot of people there was a short wait for two. It's not an ordinary breakfast menu. Very nice variety. We both ordered the Voodoo Benedict absolutely delicious. It's an open kitchen, you can actually see all the dishes that are being brought to the table and I must say I was very impressed. I'm looking forward to next Sunday and we are being friends.
(5)Lindsey J.
Delicious lunches! They have an excellent menu with unique salad dressings, sandwiches, and breakfast items! I wish this place was open later than 3pm because I would love to even come for dinner. Today my fiancé and I had lunch here and had the lunch special which was a grilled chicken pesto & pine nut sandwich on ciabatta bread with a side Italian herb fries, and also the Sparta salad, which was a great salad loaded with avocado, chicken, feta, and dill! Both great choices. Also, our server was delightful! She was very sweet and thoughtful.
(5)Ashley G.
AMAZING. Had the berry french toast and an omelette. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. Tyson, our waiter, was pleasant, speedy and helpful. Can't wait to get back! Side note: if you happen to visit during the holidays, get the gingerbread french toast. It tastes like Christmas.
(5)Dion F.
Great for small groups of 4-6 max, anything more than that is pushing the limit. . Great menu very diverse breakfast menu with some solid lunch selections. Prices are fair also
(4)Jessica S.
Love . Has become my go to restaurant for not just bfast - but lunch too . Never had an single issue with the food after dozens of times being there , and the staff is so friendly , makes you feel welcome everytime ,
(5)Melissa L.
Came here today and it is a great place for brunch. They have a large selection for any brunch craving from giant buttermilk pancakes, waffles, french toast, salads, sandwiches, etc. Today, I decided to be healthy and got the Sobe salad. The salad was huge. It can more than feed me for two meals. It had a generous helping of avocado, feta cheese, dried cranberries, and chopped pecans. The waitress was nice to let me sub the chicken for poached eggs and it was great. It came with a toasted pita bread which was really good and tasted homemade. My friend got the buttermilk pancakes and they were huge. They are almost the size of the plate. She finished half before giving up and getting a to go box. Definitely, if you are in the area, it is a great place for brunch!
(4)Nicki C.
Visited with my daughter on a weekday. Busy little place, I can imagine that there is a long wait on the weekends. Our waiter was attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu. Lots of interesting options, took awhile to decide. She had the bacon waffle which had bits of bacon in the batter and was topped with loads of crispy bacon pieces - very good! I had the baja omelette- tomato, onion, ham, bacon, guacamole and swiss - also very good! I also had a side of buttermilk pancakes which, again, were very good. Can't wait to return, I definitely have a long list of items I want to try! Update: return visit we had the breakfast burger and triple triple skillet...excellent. The only con I can come up with for this eatery is deciding among the many different, interesting options!
(4)Jessie G.
Great service. I love the menu choices but seem to always get the same pancakes and eggs. They have red velvet pancakes and waffles that look delicious. I am gonna try it once. The space is average and if you come any day besides Sunday you will be seated promptly. I can't write anymore due to my food has just arrived.
(4)Ariel M.
We went for the first time for breakfast yesterday morning and it was great! I got the huevos rancheros with chorizo (which the waitress suggested I add) and it was so delicious I'm not sure I'd ever be able to order anything else. My boyfriend got the breakfast tamales and they were just as good. We will definitely be returning soon!
(5)Lorraine F.
Wonderful! What a menu...red velvet pancakes? Oreo pancakes? Oh Behave! The service was top notch and personal. Always thankful for separate checks with a smile. An all around great place for breakfast. Endless hot coffee, always a plus
(5)Emily L.
Had a nice couple of breakfasts here. Their stuffed French toast was a little too sweet for my taste but the omelettes are delicious. Also they have great friendly service!!
(4)Karen H.
Mmmmmmm....good. If you want to be (semi) healthy/good - get a salad - sooper gûûd!! If you want to be bad get those redonkulous pancakes. Cute atmosphere - tight seating.
(4)Erin N.
This place is excellent we had slow service one time but the food was so good we didn't care!
(5)Francheska G.
The setting is serene, clean and inviting. The Chunky Monkey pancakes are my favorite. Service was fair and the Greek breakfast skillet was up to par. I always try a different item and they always deliver with A1 flavorful goodness. The price to upgrade toast to Pancakes is an added perk, Only $1.50 I believe.
(5)Sierra H.
I had high expectations before even stepping through the door. Every time I've ever heard someone talk about Jagged Fork, they've spoken of it with excitement in their eyes. "You've never been to Jagged Fork?" They would ask, wide eyed with pity for my life unlived. They would tell tales of unforgettable bacon, pancakes bigger than your head, and French toast stuffed with berries and a banana cream cheese frosting to kill for. I can honestly say the first thing that really impressed me was our service - our sever was sweet, attentive, not over bearing or (even worse) lackadaisical like some servers can be. She helped me pick from the handful of breakfast items I was literally lusting over, with a patience that I didn't expect considering how busy they were. When the food arrived a short time later, we marveled at the feast in front of us. I ordered the famous berry stuffed French toast and a side order of their 'Denver hash' - crispy hash brown potatoes, topped with grilled onions, diced green peppers, and cheddar cheese. My boyfriend got the 2 X 4 - two eggs, 4 strips of bacon, and two giant 'chunky monkey' pancakes. The cakes are stuffed with white chocolate chips and banana and topped with more white chocolate chips, banana, whipped cream, and powdered sugar. They're better than Pancake house (SO SHOOT ME). My French toast was literally the BEST French toast I've ever had. The cream cheese filling is the stuff that dreams are made of. I may or may not have over ordered with the Denver hash, but the few bites I managed to shove down in the restaurant were heavenly. We will be back next weekend, and the weekend after that, and the weekend after that....

Came for a late brunch just before 1pm on a Sat and just missed the crowd (yes!). Small place but cute. We ordered the chorizo skillet, added chunky monkey pancakes and the cinnamon raisin french toast. The skillet was yummy and really filling, so we could get a few bites of the sweet stuff in before packing it up to take home. But so good!! Tip: $1 for a little bottle of maple syrup, in case you're not into table syrup.

Not worth the wait - service weak food ok and place feels a bit dirty - my shoes were sticking to the floor

What do you do after sitting through a 3 hour graduation ceremony?! Go get brunch! And this is what we did. I took my sis and bro here and we ordered the corned beef hash skillet, the meat lover's omelette, and the olives/spinach/chicken crepe. Everything was delicious and wow the portions are huge. I had left overs for 2 days. I love Hudson Cafe which is their sister location in Detroit, and this restaurant definitely lived up to my expectations!

The food was awesome and it's a great atmosphere for sure. The chunky monkey pancakes were to die for! My only issue was that they were offering to let people sit outside that had just got in line without offering the people that had waited awhile the same thing. Overall though, an excellent breakfast that I will recommend to friends. Definitely will go back.

I love this place!!! I usually get the bacon waffle which is great for those addicted to bacon but I thought I would try something different. Our waitress suggested the Huevos Rancheros and it was amazing!!!!

Great atmosphere. Went for Sunday breakfast and got there at 9am which was great because they were not busy! The food however was just ok. My mom got coffee and it was really weak. They messed up our eggs and put hers on mine and mine in hers. Unfortunately we didn't figure this out until we cut into our eggs...and mine were covered in a sauce so we couldn't switch anyway. The food was pretty greasy. We were not satisfied so we ordered the strawberry crepes. Mom liked it okish, but they were not sweet. They were very cream cheese and marscapone. No sugar really. Disappointing. We had amazing service though so that saved this from being a 2 star. We drive all the way from Troy. It wasn't worth it unfortunately. I know it has a high star rating so maybe it was just our experience!

The Jagged Fork consistently provides quality, great tasting food. From the crepes to the chunky monkey pancakes, you cannot make a bad choice here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This place is a gem.

Came in around noon on Sunday, there was a wait of about 15 minutes, usually a sign of good things to come. Nice variety of food to choose from. Got the Monte Cristo and Huevos Rancheros. Monte cristo was great, nice balance of savory and sweet. Huevos rancheros could've used a little more chorizo, but good overall. Service was quick, good came out about 10 mins after ordering. Bill: ~$15 per person (includes drinks)

Consistently good breakfast, with a way shorter wit time the Original House of Pancakes. Their lunch menu isnt too shabby. Will go back.

The food was ok. I had the voodoo Benedict and red velvet pancakes. Someone talked the place up so I was really anticipated a foodgasm which simply did not happen. It's not a bad place for brunch but not spectacular. Good wait time and good service. Like the homely feel too.

You can never go wrong with the skillets and waffles in this place, definitely one of my favorite brunch places..and it's close to my house.

Just had lunch at the Jagged Fork with my daughter. She has been there several times and has told me this is a must go to place. She was right. I had the Grosse Pointer crepe, it was absolutely delicious. It's a large crepe stuffed with ham, mushrooms, onions, two cheese, and the best of all over easy eggs. This crepe is to die for. My daughter had the chunky monkey pancakes one of her favorites. Sampled a couple bites and they are great. Warning, you better go there hungry, the portions are big. The service is engaging and attentive without being smothering. I can't rate this more than a 5, but it deserves it. This is now my go to breakfast / lunch place. Can't wait to go back.

Very nice food, so tasty! Generous portion as well! Skillet comes with full pancake dish, how awesome! Reasonably priced kind staff. What else can I get! Oh only too much thing was banana cheese cream in French toast. Yet, this restaurant is my favorite brunch spot near me.

The food was lackluster and service wasn't the best at least the service I got wasn't too good yet my waitress appeared to be over worked as they didn't have a person operating the cashier and seating the customers they have the waitress do that plus bus the tables so it appears to be a management issue as the manager should be seating customers and cashing out customers. Had to ask another waitress for a coffee after I ordered one and my waitress went on to do other things. Defiantly needs hands on management at this place. Omelette was ok, hash browns under cooked and a bit soggy on the inside so they must be frozen and not properly thawed and cooked as they should not be wet inside, the toast wasn't high quality bread and coffee was decent. Basically a Coney Island breakfast with larger portions and pancake house prices. This is my second time here as I went over a year ago when they first opened and thought I'd give them another shot I really wish I could like this place better but it needs better management and the food is nothing special. Maybe the pancakes and French toast is a better option but the typical omelette breakfast was fair at best and for a breakfast place this isn't acceptable quality. The decor is nice but I rate on service and food quality alone and unfortunately they don't have it together yet was going to give it a 2 star but felt generous in my rating and gave them 3 but really felt like they deserved a 2 star due to food quality and service. Let's hope they get it together better especially at these prices the quality needs to be better than Gordon Food Supply fare and Coney Island.

The food was ok, but the servers need to learn some manners!! My friend and I met there for breakfast. First, they tried to take my friends food before she was done. Second, not only our server but another server basically came over and was trying to push us out the door. Rude!! Won't be coming back!! I really want to support businesses in my neighborhood but only when they are neighborly in return!!

Great menu selection. Omelets and breakfast burrito are massive portions. Everything was delicious

This place is pretty f*ckin great. I love that you can order espresso and not just coffee. I love the variety on your standard breakfast items. I love that they have more than just fruit crepes. The service was sooooo friendly. It was kinda chilly but were there a half hour after opening so not surprising. The prices were reasonable. And you didn't feel cramped like so many breakfast and brunch joints. Definitely a pleasant first time experience. They need to like play some jazz or something though to fit the rest of their ambiance, I think it was like 96.3 on or something lol.

I went on Sunday noonish with my husband. We both ordered savory crepe (me-vegetarian, him- season special chicken something) expecting a fancy little crepe, and oh my gosh. It was bigger than an omelet!!! Taste was amazing too. (it could be a little thinner dough though.. it was pretty thick for a crepe) Considering how busy it was, I think service was fast and the price was good for the size and quality if our meal.

Best gourmet breakfast place on the East side, but that isn't saying much. In fact, it's probably the only gourmet breakfast place on the East side. I wish there was more competition. The good: The tiramisu crepes were pretty good, but nothing spectacular. Original House of Pancakes has better crepes. All of the strawberry crepe options here are served only with strawberry cream cheese. They don't have a fresh fruit strawberry option, which is super unfortunate. The eggs benedict was excellent. The bad: The corned beef hash is flat out horrible. It's minced worse than canned hash, and has less texture, to the extent that's possible. It's a shame too because you can taste the quality in the ingredients, but they flat out destroy it. The wait staff is pretty bad as well. They're far too old, out of shape, homely, and slow. There's no brightness in their attitudes or steps, they are definitely a drag on the experience. Don't expect a friendly smile here, just fairly well prepared food with mediocre ingredients and subpar service.

It's ok. My $9.25 eggs benedict had your typical hollandaise sauce found anywhere. It came with a small side of fruit. Huge menu. Ok service. Omelettes are over $10. Not a lot of charm. Ok breakfast spot.

Amazing menu!!! Best pancakes in town!!! Try it all you won't be disappointed. Great service.

I've been back several Times since my initial review. One time was with my children. We ordered them orange juice and when we got the bill it was $6.50 for one glass of orange juice! I understand that it's fresh squeezed, but that is outrageous! You pay for where you eat, meaning the city. Because this is in Grosse Pointe they believe they can get away with charging that type of price for one glass of fresh squeezed orange juice. Food quality seems to have gone down as well. I know they are known for their breakfast, but I also went for lunch one day and tried their quesadilla. It was a soggy, wet mess. Lastly I'd like to address their waitstaff. There is one particular waitress there who I believe may be a head waitress. She has a really sour attitude. I know this has been a barrage of complaints against this establishment, but I will say my kids do love their Mickey Mouse pancake. *golf clap*

Soo good! Went here yesterday for a late breakfast. I ordered the veggie skillet with a side of pancakes and my boyfriend got a skillet with chorizo (i don't remember the name) with a side of pancakes. Both skillets were great but the pancakes were amazing! I got the red velvet pancakes which comes with a whipped cream cheese spread and he got the chunky monkey pancakes which are white chocolate, carmel, banana pancakes. We swapped one pancake so that we could try both. We both absolutely loved this place. Tyson was our server and was very friendly. I cant wait to go back and try something else!
(5)Misty J.
The menu had a lot of seemly great options. After all five star reviews I think I might have set my expectations a bit high. The voodoo benedict was mildly disappointing, it didn't have much flavor. I tried my husband's huevos rancheros and that was pretty good. My nephew got a fruit cup that was mostly melon and some grapes. He doesn't like melon so that was also disappointing. Overall I thought it was just ok. The waitress was horrible. I ordered a cappuccino and I got a coffee. I drank because it was busy. But my nephew ordered an oj and she brought him an Apple juice. Then when we told her he ordered an oj she basically called us liars. She did end up bringing out an orange juice luckily because the poor kid can't drink Apple juice. Definitely not chomping at the bit to return but I wouldn't be opposed if someone wanted to check it out.

Amazing food! Great unique flavors and portions. The food is priced appropriately and fresh. The service is great as well. Very pleased!
(5)Sjanni P.
Amazing breakfast food and great service. They offer a good array of options for breakfast or lunch but I am partial to the red velvet pancakes! Yum!!
(5)Amber R.
Omg I just had the veggie omelette with chicken and cheddar added and it comes with the most delicious crispy hash browns and a side of chunky monkey pancakes to DIE FOR no syrup needed every bite is heaven. Thank you Jagged Fork
(5)Rachel P.
Best breakfast in metro Detroit! Even the small size pancakes were enough! Had the chunky monkey flavor and they were so good they didn't even need syrup! Not expensive at all, as it's rare to get a full breakfast with meat for less than $10 but that was doable here! We had two small children and the staff was accommodating. I'll be back!

I'm visiting from California, and came to the restaurant this morning for brunch. There was a crowd, and my friend approached the greeter at the door and asked "Should I give you my name?" She seemed irritated (and condescending) and said "We know you're here SIR." Not the way we wanted to start a dining experience so we left and won't return.

A nice family restaurant with a great breakfast menu. I went with a group of 12 people on a Sunday afternoon when it's packed, and we were all seated within a reasonble amount of time. And the staff was very accomadating. I highly recommend the red velvet pancakes, you will definitely get your monies worth.

I'm going with 4 stars strictly because our small group of 3 loved our food. Service was slow and our waitress confused, but once we got our food we were happy. I would call this an upscale breakfast place with lot's of interesting options beyond bacon, eggs & pancakes. The prices seem a bit high at first, but I thought the portions were huge, so can't fault them on that, accept I'm a small eater and would prefer to have a smaller portion/smaller price. I chose the chorizo egg benedict w/avocado and salsa verde. It came with hash browns or fruit. The waitress brought me a side of pancakes which I questioned since that's not what the menu says, so perhaps she goofed - but I ate some anyways. My meal was delicious, I was only able to eat 1/2, the rest went in a carryout box. My son got the huevos rancheros and a side of pancakes, and he was happy with his choice. The pancakes aren't quite as good as that other GP establishment, but they were still yummy. Finally my bf went for a plain jane eggs, bacon & hash browns, and he also had a huge portion. We had 2 coffees - $2 each - a bit steep, but our total bill came to $30, not bad considering the quality and the portions. The service wasn't great - super slow once we were seated and our waitress came back about 25 minutes after we ordered to clarify an order - so that was alarming - but then our food came out (sorta) correctly 5 minutes later. Couldn't find her when we wanted to pay - why is that? - so got frustrated sitting with my cc in hand, but finally paid and got out of there. So what should have been a 30- 45 minute breakfast turned into an 1.5 hour breakfast - too long when you have things to do. I'll give them another try and hope the service improves and maybe split a meal.

Waking up before 7am deserves a reward in my book and the jagged fork appears to deliver. As a first time visitor I had only heard of dishes covered in fruit and stuffed with cream cheese so I figured I'd order something that fit that description. The berry stuffed french toast was quite dense and rich yet provided a filling and flavorful meal. My friends ordered the frisbee sized pancakes and the voodoo Benedict which were also well reviewed. The portions felt well valued at the price while the service was friendly and timely.

Excellent breakfast, fun atmosphere! Everything on the menu is delicious! Lots of wonderful choices!!

You guys.. If you're from Grosse Pointe (or anywhere around there) you'll know The Pancake House is the famous go-to breakfast place. Well, guess what, this place is better. For about the same price as OPH, you get WAY more variety. This place had a huge, eclectic menu. And instead of just offering coffee, they have espresso and lattes too. The place is roomy and has a lot of natural lighting, and TVs. The waiter I had was so so sweet. I tried the original eggs Benedict, voodoo eggs Benedict, the chunky monkey, the very berry French toast and the side of hash browns (this was all for a table of four). Every. Single. Thing. Was. Amazing. I was so impressed. You get quantity and quality for every dollar you spend. This place is a definitely worth a visit!

Awesome place. The food is really good and you get a lot. The service is really good as well. The apple pancakes are some of the best I have had.
